There are really only 3 Goldberg matches that I mark for, DDP at Halloween Havoc, the Raven Title match on Nitro(I don't even remember what title) and then the Elimination Chamber match at SummerSlam. Other than that I can't remember another memorable match of his

I love Goldberg's energy and persona. He's very fun watch.

Sign me up for a Goldberg vs Brock 2. This time they HAVE to give a damn, because they're still under contract.

I actually watched WWE 24: Seth Rollins a few days ago. That **** was fantastic. His dog is adorable and at one point he seemed to make like...10 scrambled eggs so I briefly thought "well if he can eat like that so can I!"...and then I saw him working out and it was crash back to reality for me.

I was even amped up when he's in the back and the producer yells "Seth get ready. And he responds "I was born ready."

Still need to watch it. Looks interesting. WWE typically does a good job with their historical shows.

He's not wrong. Nothing is wrong with being a geek, or liking corny things, but wrestling is at it's best when it's a got an edge to it. People still rock Austin 3:16 shirts. No one in 15-20 years will be rocking a Cena or New Day shirt. That's a problem. Wrestling needs to become transcendent again.

Wrestling doesn't "need" to do anything. Wrestling is a niche, a very large and loyal niche.

This guy is just stuck in the past.

If camp WWE was with the actual wwe superstar voices, it'd be great. But it's really just vince and ric and a bunch of random voice actos and that ruins it for me.

Haha I didn't know that(haven't watched any, doesn't interest me).

But that's funny because I assume that's due to having to pay guys to do the voice work lol

How do you guys get your older friends/family back in to wresting or in to wrestling? What strategies do you use? Seems if I talk to a few I keep getting similar answers among them. Typically it has something to do with past wrestling being better among those who have watched and don't anymore. Or it's childish and fake among the crew who doesn't watch in general. The later crew are harder to get to a watch paperviews, the former I can still manage to watch Wrestlemania at a high percentage, but other paperviews rank pretty low. What strategies do you use to convince them. Feels harder and harder to bring some people back these days. Even house parties are getting smaller for ppv's Need some brainstorming ideas for summerslam:laugh:

Couple days late... but watched WWE 24 with Seth Rollins.

- I was a little shocked he was in the performance center worrying about his knee and then on tv so shortly after it. I would have thought he was about 200% at that time.

- How is he not a face? The idea he wanted was to be a new Seth Rollins. The face turn would have made so much sense.

- I was a little bothered by how he took in Wrestlemania. Extremely selfish. I get it... and i understand he loves wrestling so much. But he could have at least been supportive. He looked absolutely miserable at the events they showed.

I create a game, full of predictions that aren't results based.

For example:

"Will there be blood in this match?" - yes or no, 5 points for correct answer

"Will stephanie mcmahon show any legs?" - 5 points for correct answer.

$20 buy-in. Person with the most points by the end of the show wins money.

(I have much more creative questions than that)

Besides my brother, I have zero friends that watch wrestling, but I can get many involved with betting sheets. I do this for the big events. Royal Rumble is a great one.

I don't blame him. Carry the brand for all that time only to have it ripped away from him.

I made my brother watch NXT Dallas while we had a few beers and he keeps asking me when the next one is.

Sorry bud, but 1 guy can't carry a massive brand like wwe.

I thought it was extremely selfish too. You have so many friends in big time matches, and all you can think about is yourself. Smh

Anybody saying he's selfish or whatever is insane.

Have you never been looking forward to something for so long and then you can't do it for whatever reason? It could be you're sick..hurt...whatever...but if something you've worked towards or looked forward to is taken from you and then you have to watch it..you're going to be upset and even jealous. Everybody would be the exact same as he was in that situation. He didn't say "**** all of you, you guys suck. Roman sucks so much I'm the best!" he was just upset and said he had to leave.

He's a wrestler. This is his LIFE...it's not some hobby. Quite frankly I'd be more disappointed or concerned if he wasn't upset.

Yes that's true, but it can also lead to mental health issue's down the road because a person can be attached to the character. Ronda Rousey experienced this not so long ago with losing at UFC. Even watching legends house a few wrestlers talked about becoming to attached to a character and still associating with that character which caused problems and they still tackle it. Listen to a few documentaries and many wrestlers suffer from depression in their later years. Some people like Lesnars attitude of taking wwe as a business and him saying he only cares about getting paid, and not the writing/story, others hate him for that. I don't think Selfish might be the right word. Attached might be a better term.

But the definition of what you are saying is technically selfish. I totally understand it. Like you said - if you look forward to something and you see it unfolding right in front of you and you can't take part in it but are sooooo close. I totally get it.

He definitely, however, took it out on the fans. That's the one part I didn't care for. You could see he was really emotionally struggling through those segments. The fans didn't do anything wrong, ya know? But every time they asked him if he was going to show up, his heart must have sunk lower and lower.

It's not a big deal. If I was an NHL Player and had to sit and watch the SCFs, I'd be physically sick. You work so hard and miss it due to a stupid ****ing injury. I totally get it. The only thing I didn't like was how he reacted to the fans. He looked utterly miserable.

Yup. It would be a big question mark if he wasn't irritated.

Yeah you're right. Definitely the technical definition of selfish...but I suppose I've always just associated selfish with purely negative whereas Seth's situation was entirely justifiable...but yeah. I should have worded things differently as that's a pretty cut and dry definition.

I assume tickets to meet Seth had already been sold when he got hurt? No real reason to force him to work it otherwise. Dude was dying inside.

1. I'm not your bud.

2. If you don't get what I mean then I don't know what to say. World champion, first ever World + U.S. Champion, featured in 4-8 segments on Raw routinely and having the best matches and segments on the card pretty much every night.
