Why on earth would the Rangers trade Andonovski? I mean, let's be realistic folks.
Because they’ve been punching above their weight class all year. There goalie is the main reason for this. They will come back down to earth. And if they want to bid for the memorial cup in 27 they’d be wise to move a few pieces of value. It’s November. Think the Rangers will be a true contender come playoffs? I don’t. They could cash in huge.
But sure if they want to add pieces only for heartbreak by all means I’m here for it.

Anyone else see the instant injection of leadership from Halttunen? He looks legit happy to be here and on a mission to help this team finish what was started..
I told my friend, I loved how Halttunen backchecked and took away a pass that would have been a potential goal.

Once he finds his shot again, we are back in business. He is happy to be back, and I love the trust that Dale had to not swap Haltunnen for Julien in the last minute of play to shut the Rangers down. If he can improve his skating throughout the year, he’s gonna be legit threat in the next level.

Based on how the west looks this year, today, the Rangers maybe get to the conference final vs London. Maybe.

Trade Ando and Swick, keep Parsons and Miseljevic, and they still maybe get to that conference final. Maybe.
See? Even a Ranger fan gets it. Trade Ando as I said. They can still be competitive and load up for the cup bid. That would be smart management.

Like London, the Ranger have an abundance of OHL ready players.

I’d move Ando, and if I can’t get value for the OA’s, I keep them but identify the younger players, who may have value, and who we can afford to do without going forward (an 07 or two), because they’ll be bumped by 08’s next year.

Move a couple of them for value. Clears up roster space and adds a few picks.

This CHL/NCAA agreement has some teams having rosters that are overflowing. But not all teams. There will be teams out there looking for good OHL bodies that’ll make their team better down the road.

Curious, who do you think calls for Parsons that is contending?? Most contending teams have their guy.

Barrie - I could see trading Hillebrandt maybe for Parsons
Erie - Erliden is amazing and better.
Flint - Day is the only reason why they aren’t in the basement
London - no reason to trade 7-0 Eliott
Oshawa - Oster is the reigning GOTY
Kingston - already has former Mem Cup OA Lalonde
Brantford - Leenders is their goalie
Brampton - can Ivankovic carry the load?
Windsor - Joey Castanzo is Goalie of the Year so far
Saginaw - no way they trade Oke.

Only teams I could see that are interested is Brampton and Barrie. London doesn’t do Elliott dirty and trades him unless he fails drastically.
It's not always about already having your guy. Sometimes (like in Londins case 04/05) you trade for a goalie you've had a hard time beating in the past. London had "their" guy in 04/05 and that was Ryan McDonald. He had 15 wins in 17 games played and a .926 save % and London traded to get Dennis as they could not beat him the year prior. Other teams might lean this way aswell for Parsons.

Difference here is Adam Dennis had the Knights number … thorn in side …. can’t remember the last time Parson beat the Knights ….

If we can beat Parsons last year, we can beat him this year. Difference is in 04 we couldn’t beat Dennis in a playoff series.
