deGrom dealing, trying to lock it up. Would be great if the Mets could score for him, get him a tenth win.

You go with your best guy and that's Severino.
That worked so well last year. He hasnt earned it. He hasnt been our “best” for awhile now. It would be a mistake to go with him just because he was great in the 1st half of the season.

On another note, Sanchez continues to refuse to hit the ball the other way. Just flat out refuses to stay on the ball longer and drive the ball to right. It has been his downfall all year

Really doesn't matter who the Yankees send out for the Wildcard game because he's going to get lit up like a pinball machine.

The Yankees pitching sucks. No way to sugar coat it. It plain sucks, top to bottom.

Yet, somehow, that's going to be Boone's fault...

Gary Sanchez now has same number of passed balls as Jorge Posada in 2001 season in a bit over half the innings.

He pulled a homer the game before so he keeps telling himself it’s just a matter of time until his swing comes back it’s almost there. Staying on the ball and going the other way is for wimps who need to hustle and do lame shit like that.

With 3 games left, the Yankees need 4 homers to tie the single-season record by a team and 5 to break it.

I think we were a better team last year despite worse record.

Yankee pitching is 9th in the majors in ERA.

5th in quality starts.

8th in BAA

tied for 5th in OPS against.

They've got what, 4 guys in the rotation with a sub 4 ERA (Severino, Tanaka, Happ, Sabathia.)

It's not Houston or Cleveland, but it doesn't suck from top to bottom.
