Yea right. Not see if you’re being serious but he easily wins it.

BTW shoutout to the title. Considering the Mets have have the better record since the ASB. ;)
Surprised you bothered coming back here after taunting Yankees fans and pounding your chest like three weeks into the season.

Better record since the ASB? ...and? Why should I care? We had a shit season and haven't played a meaningful game beyond trying to win for deGrom for months.

Yeah man, it’s a shame how it ended up for the Mets. Good things don’t last long as a Met fan lol. Aye man I’m sure speaking upon the title of the thread no need to get all bent outta shape.

I feel confident how they ended up the year IF the pitching can stay healthy they’ll be contending next year due to Rosario, McNeil emerging, also if the way Conforto and Bruce end the season is an indication of how next year will be they’ll be in good shape. I just don’t trust the front office making the right moves to fill the team, otherwise they look solid. I just hope the Phillies don’t end up with Harper and Machado.

Hicks is our 2nd best position player. People wanted to dump him for Fraizer before the season.

IDK if the Nick Swisher trade was better or this one.

Didi might be done for the year.

How long is this god damn A.J. Cole experiment going to last? Our bullpen is our strongest point and we're bringing it Cole and other scrubs on a regular basis it seems... what the hell is the point of having the former if you're going to continuously do the latter? I just don't get it

Saw the Cobb County Braves clinched the east. Just wondering: what is the modern day record for most empty seats ever at a MLB postseason game because I think it's in serious jeopardy?

Good question. I would guess either Tampa or Oakland. Maybe Florida?

If the A's and Yanks tie at the end of the season is there a tie-breaker game for home field advantage or do they use tie-breakers?

Pretty sure they do regular season head-to-head. Not sure what they do if that's tied.

Found the rule on mlb.com.
Determining Home-Field Advantage in Two-Team Tiebreakers
1. Head-to-head winning percentage during the regular season.
2. Higher winning percentage in intradivision games.
3. Higher winning percentage in intraleague games.
4. Higher winning percentage in the last half of intraleague games.
5. Higher winning percentage in the last half plus one intraleague game, provided that such additional game was not between the two tied clubs. Continue to go back one intraleague game at a time until the tie has been broken.

I think they are 3-3 head to head.

It's officially David Wright week. Will be activated tomorrow. I know it's happening on Saturday, but it feels like a ploy to bump ticket sales and ratings for the last homestand.

Nonetheless, I'll be watching the games.
