Don't think Strasburg is going anywhere. He'll opt out but Nats will pony up to keep him.

Cole on the other hand is probably heading close to home. I can see the Angels putting together a monster 200+ mill offer. Padres are somewhat of a dark horse.

And what, we're gonna sit on our thumbs while the Red Sox win another one this time?

I've always liked Sanchez and thought he got too much criticism but he was brutal. Didi I would let walk. Not sure what the answer is here, we are tied down with the terrible contract of Stanton who is looking more and more like the next Ellsbury.

Going to be a long offseason..Cashman has a lot of work to do and hard roster decisions to make.

the Astros batters, particularly 1-4, were just so obviously superiorly-coached than the Yanks throughout this series. They consistently displayed a more fundamental understanding of what to expect in the box.

For the entire team to have such clueless at bats, looking so bad, this deep into the series... yikes. To think there is a Yankee employee with the title of "hitting coach" or something like it, paid hundreds of thousands of dollars, who will likely keep his job after the performance of the Yankee bats in this series.

The book isn't closed on the 2010-2019 decade but it may as well be. Only local team winning a title is the Giants. Other local teams with title appearances are rangers Mets and devils. First time since 1910-1919 that the yanks aren't on this list. This is not a cashman problem. It's a steinbrenner problem.
