I'm not predicting the future. I hope he improves but I have found his performance as a Yankee underwhelming so far. He hasn't justified his salary at all and we are stuck with him for a long time.

How do you not love the Todfather? I know this might put me on an island but I hope we keep him next year. I think he's a great locker room guy and he still can hit the baseball pretty good albeit a bit inconsistently and he's a very good fielder.

I dunno if he's going to be affordable but I'd keep him.

I know this is going to not make you happy and might tick you off a bit BR but "your boy" Matz in his last 11 starts has given up 2 runs or less 10 times and his ERA has dropped almost a full run in that time frame.
