Jake has 4 more Braves muttering to themselves....that's 7 k's in a row. He looks awesome tonight.

Anyone know the MLB record? I recall Seaver had 9 in a row as a Met but gotta think that record has been broken...no?
Pretty sure Seaver has the record at 10.

Gotta hope Wheeler can turn in an outing with length tonight. I'm going to assume Lugo is unavailable as he threw 2 innings last night and Familia definitely is unavailable since he's thrown 3 straight days. Sewald, who's looked excellent since being recalled, has also thrown 2 straight days so I'd imagine they'd try to stay away from him as well. That leaves Flexen, Wilson, Diaz, Avilan, and Brach out of the pen as 'fresh' options though all of them except Flexen threw last night too.

Why in Gods name is Gardner not bunting there..why?!?! This is the stupid shit that concerns me with Boone. Its been smooth sailing for him all year. But when he needs to “Manage” he f***s up.

Who called timeout? How does the Home Plate Umpire call timeout there. What a f***ing joke.

Also Tauchman...that was miserable

A few days ago I asked what Agbayani was up to.

My question has been answered.

Good to see he's still at his playing weight.

I'm done with this game. Wheels off.

Someone in the booth...either Darling or Gary mentioned a little after I posted and asked the question here, that it was 9 in a row and three peeps including Seaver had done it in baseball history.
Seaver definitely had the record with 10 but I don't know if it was broken.

Well he can go pitch in Syracuse now. FINALLY was DFAd today with McNeil coming back. He can disappear for all I care
Reasons for Altherr to be remembered.
  • Hit the 1st grand slam allowed by Kershaw
  • Hit an inside the park grand slam
  • Hit a HR his first AB with the Mets.

I'll miss him.

451 feet 3 run HR to give the Mets the lead. Not a dinky little floater to tie the club record.
