Easy to 2nd guess......9 out of 10x you go with the righty there, but I suppose Callahan went with the reverse splits and how Wilson has had success vs RENDON. #Metkiller

Like I said, I saw the whole thing happening before it happened. Just seeing Wilson's pitches being flat like that, I knew he was toast if Rendon made contact.

Mostly left handed bats that inning, so maybe why he was left in, but I still would've gone with a righty against their biggest bat.

I’m going to be that annoying fan.... that Acuña watch is down to 9 HRs-14 SBs and 23 RBI for a 40-40-100 season. Would be absurd.

Just bought tix today for the second to last game of the year Braves @ Mets. I’m honestly pulling for Mets down the stretch so there’s more on the line for that game. Got seats in left-center so hopefully they don’t rest my boy.

Oddly enough baseball doesn’t carry that weight to “hate” rivals. Always wanna beat the Mets but I really only loathe the Phillies.

I am god awful towards Eagles-Boys-Skins fans. I absolutely despise Rangers rivals though haha. As if it’s personal. Can’t stand any team from that old Atlantic division. I’m not sure there is a stronger string of rivalries than Rangers-Devils-Isles-Flyers-Pens.

But I digress, Acuña Matata.

Remember that game where the Angels were just like "hey we turned a double play" and the umpire was just like "ok" but then he let the Yankees score anyway for no reason? This game is worse.

That was a stupid, stupid stupid run to give up. They were totally outplayed by Nats tonight and really dont deserve to win. Even if they pull off a miraculous comeback, they don't deserve to win.

The tweet by Cabrera makes me laugh. The Mets "had their chance off season". Cant compare Cabrera with Cano to begin with, but their agenda was really getting Diaz.
Another laughable moment......some article titling "Mets fan favorite, Cabrera....."
Since when was he a favorite? He complained about having to move to 3rd, etc. Etc. IMO, never portrayed the "team player".
Couldnt accept he lost a step, and his ego was shot down.
