I really don't want to see Aaron Altherr ever again
It's a shame, really. Such a good athlete. His swing is so long and an at bat here and there doesnt do anyone justice. I remember when we first faced him, he was more than decent and wondered where do the Phillies come up with all this talent? He needs to get back to basics and make contact, change his approach. Do something different, because this ain't working for him.....he will be out of baseball soon if not.

Wild Card needs to be one game. There needs to be a risk to not winning the division, no matter how good the division you are in is.

One thing I would like to see if that if there is a significant difference between WC1 and WC2, maybe 6+ game difference, that the team that finishes that much better doesn't have to play the WC game and is treated like a division winner.

Not sure if that has been the case, but I wouldn't punish a team for being the 4th best team by a wide margin. If they are close, play the one game.

gleyber's split against the orioles compared to everyone else is crazy...I mean don't get me wrong, his numbers against the rest of the league are still pretty solid. expand that over a full season and its still a pretty solid year. but add baltimore and it goes from a good year to a great year lol

I don't think you can treat them that different if the schedule is uneven. Right now you play 76 games in your own division and 66 games against other divisions. That's not a small difference.

At the end of the day, it still all counts. And we all know the insane talent he possesses.

it wasn't meant as a knock on him as a player overall at all. but its still crazy. its to the point that to make it fair they should make him play blindfolded or hit lefty against the orioles lol

With how many W's we're racking up with Green starting, we should seriously consider it in the playoffs.

Never felt he had 30 HR power as he was coming up. Being a Yankee during this era quickly changed that.

Anyone can beat anyone in a 1 off game. Just wait till 100-win Rays lose to a 90-win 2nd wildcard team. Rays would be getting punished for being in the same division as the Yankees.

Pretty much

Well yeah because those are the guys who are would proceed him if it’s an opener/bullpen game

My point being, I don't think we are equipped for a bullpen game.

We have a killer pen but they aren't guys that can go multiple innings.
