OT: MLB Thread Part XXVIII: Vote Starlin Castro for the ASG

MadBum isnt worth the prospects hes going to cost.I watched a good portion of the Mets game tonight and he was barely hitting 90 on the gun.Mets had chances to score verse him a few times but,well,they're the Mets.His stuff isnt what it once was,and at 30 years old,thats pretty telling.I would stay away from him and target someone else.

Is there any bigger tease in pro sports than the Mets ? And I’m not even a Mets fan.

Not saying or expecting his stuff to be what it once was.

But I still think he is a big game pitcher.

All depends on cost.

Again, who knows who is sellers at this point. Only teams that are for sure are Toronto and Detroit

Couldn't agree more. Anything we get from them this year is a bonus.

The Giants aren't going to trade him unless a stud prospect is going back to them.If I'm Cashman and the names Florial or Garcia are mentioned,I'm hanging up the phone and blocking the number.I'm sure the Giants are going to want multiple prospects also,and to me,the risk isn't worth it.I'm all for acquiring another starter,just not him...unless Cash can somehow rob them

Evan Roberts of WFAN said he would trade Davie Garcia for him.

I think sometimes fans live too much in the now.

The kid will likely be a big part of the rotation next year.

That was another Callaway disaster and maybe Brodie’s fault too. Both guys had to know on Wednesday that Rhame was in all likelihood going to be suspended Thursday. So knowing that why isn’t Rhame in for the 8th and 9th in Minnesota? If you use him there perhaps Mazza is rested and better last night
