Have to send German down to work on his command.Stuff is there,but the command isnt...especially with 2 strikes.
 
Instead of matching up CC and Severino against Thor and DeGrom, we're saving them for the guys on Tampa who pitch one inning.

 
God German is awful. He needs to go to AAA. He needs to figure out how to master the great stuff he has and come out of the gate firing. His body language is terrible. He has no confidence.

Shreve is terribad lol. He just gets smacked around. Hitters see him so well.

Sheffield cannot possibly be worse than German and Gray. What the hell do we have to lose at this point? If he makes it through the 1st inning he is already an improvement.
 
Sanchez has .194 BABIP. MLB average is around. 300. He's been extremely unlucky.

Glad we matched up our rotation with Boston's. Gonna come in handy when we play them, like you know, eventually, and we're 8 games out.

That would be unacceptable. Boone was brought in with expectations of winning the division.
 


Ah yes, the Cessa experiment #117. Surely it'll work this time. It's not like we have an elite pitching prospect who's destroying the minors or anything.

All this being said, I still believe in Cash to make the right moves. He is the best executive in sports atm. Just not a fan of his managerial hire for now.

Boone was hired with the idea that we would always try to win today's game. What ever happened to that?

I think he's been worse than Girardi in that regard. He just tossed this game in the trash for some eventual matchup with Boston.

Agreed. And I was probably Girardi's biggest detractor last season imo. I miss him.
