I refuse to give up on the Mets season...8 back in the loss with 67 games to play..PLus we got the double its outta here last night from Gary...Magic in the air?

The Yankees would like either Darvish or Gray, but sources suggest they are intent on keeping their very top prospects – starting with Clint Frazier, Gleyber Torres and Justus Sheffield – which could inhibit their chances at either (though they have a deep system so it can’t be ruled out).

I would give up Sheffield for Gray, not Darvish. We could just sign him in the off season if they have interest in getting him.

I still think with the major injuries to Noah and Ces, at this point it's best to retool this season. The Mets definitely have a couple of needs, and will have some more in the offseason. A smart trade deadline and a blessing from the doctors of the baseball gods will have the Mets poised for a really good season next year.

Conforto is having a breakout year, and the Mets have been playing really well altogether since the ASB. If Conforto keeps ripping it up the Mets could make it interesting, but i still think there can't be any dawdling at the deadline.

Frazier isn't one of our top prospects - he's our left fielder.

Oakland can **** off with that one.
