I doubt Judge ever strikes out less than 120-130 times a year. He's just that sort of hitter and nowadays it's rare for anyone who hits 30 or more homers consistently to strikeout below 100 times a year. There was a time where 80 was considered good now if you're near 100 that's great. Most low strikeout guys now either don't have power or rarely walk and are low OBP/OPS guys.

Being a low strikeout guy and not striking out more than once every game are two different things.

Reed has been badly misused by Boston since he got there. He needs to pitch every 3rd day or so. He would regularly ask Collins to get into games when he wouldn't pitch for a couple of days. No doubt that's why he wasn't sharp tonight

Predicting everyone will hate Ramos here in 5 minutes. I feel a blown save coming

throw some strikes damn it...lol.
the bronx turned from jubilant to worried fast

Chapman may not be sharp, but this home plate umpire's strike zone is ****ing stupid as hell.

Also, Joe G has just been so ****ing dumb this season. You don't use Chapman for a week, how do you think his command might look?

Joe G has just had 0 feel for the game this season for the majority of the time.

No one even up in the pen.

There's a reason why this team's actual record is miles worse than its Pythagorean WL. It's because of Girardi doing his AV impression all season.

Issue with bringing in Delin now is that he always usually walks the first guy or two before retiring the side.

gorgeous pick up and hicks aware before he even made play. defense always makes a difference

What an inning! What a win!
