The weight has been a concern with him from the moment he was drafted. It's probably always going to be something worth watching. It hasn't had a negative impact on his performance either offensively or defensively to this point. Hopefully it stays that way.

Probably will just be a salary dump because the Coupons need as much money back as possible. Doubt we get more than what we got for Bruce.
I just want some sort of 3B or catcher at this point. We don't need any more bullpen arms

I think they may have had some concern regarding Bruce, since there's not going to be any room for him next year.
Duda, I don't think they wanted, but it would be unlikely he'd accept a QO, IMO. Even with the injury history he's been a productive enough player to get a multi-year deal somewhere.
I wouldn't be totally surprised if they ended up trying to bring back Walker to play 2B or 3B.

Probably the Yankees. If the Jets, Mets, Knicks are contenders for a Championship, they are the big team in New York. Its usually just a matter of who's playing the best. Nets, Islanders, Rangers and Devils are the only teams that don't really get much attention, although the Rangers do during the playoffs, if we are good.

Yeah hockey is really not popular in New York. At least in this part of the state. People are always surprised when I tell them that. The Mets in their worst years will generate more media and casual fan interest than the Rangers will unless the Rangers are having a 93/94 or 13/14 type season
Betances should be out there for the 9th if this is still 1-1 with 9 pitches, but no way Girardi deviates from the book. You have to figure you won't need any of these guys tomorrow night with Montero starting, it should be a blowout. If you can push this to the 10th with Chapman it's unlikely you lose this game with the Sox pen

Girardi blows yet ANOTHER game this season. Why would you pitch Chapman another inning?
Didn't even really agree with pitching D-Rob 2 innings, but that made a bit more sense.
Honestly have had it with him.
As for Chapman, he pitched fine, that pitch to Devers was 103 MPH that would have gotten by most hitters. He was very effective otherwise.

Girardi did by pitching him a 2nd inning.
Chapman was fine in the 9th inning. I'm not going to get on him for giving up a HR via a pitch he threw for 103 MPH. That was more Devers putting a very good swing on a tough pitch more than anything.
