I will miss Lucas his power is enormous but those darn injuries always kept him down. As much as I despise the Yankees I really wanted him to go there he would have eaten that park alive..If he could ever stay healthy for 500 abs he would hit 35 to 40 every year...Yankee fans wouldve loved him

Would never have been there long term though with Bird. I think he's going to look into going to San Fran San Diego or Anaheim in the offseason since he's from out there

Those seem like two very bad spots for him. SF doesn't have a need they have Belt at 1st and Posey plays there sometimes. Angels could use him as a 1B/DH with Pujols but those are two of the absolute worst parks for left handed power hitters. I think he would be a good fit in Boston. Can take over for Moreland.

I was just talking this year for him..If he got hot he could hit close to 20 there with that porch

Side note: GKR have mentioned this throughout the season, but Duda is 7th all time in HR for the Mets. Trailed Beltran by 24 HRs for 6th. Thanks for 7 good seasons, Lucas.

:(

I wish him all the best. I know he played for quite some time in the outfield but I still get a kick out of him being our RF during Johan's no hitter

Judge got whacked in the mouth with a helmet and left while they were celebrating.Ouch

The bottom of the order is garbage. Frazier stinks also. I don't want .211 hitters on this team.

Watch the game please. For a board that has been all about not looking at the traditional numbers, pointing at the average is quite mindless. Frazier has been getting closer. His swing is coming along. He is seeing pitches well and his timing is slightly off.

There is a stark difference between the at bats Frazier had and the ones Tyler Wade had. Wade is LOST. He has zero approach. Zero plan going up to the plate. He was exposed early on the breaking ball low. He has shown that in previous games. He has not learned or made any adjustments. You would think he knows the breaking ball is coming and he still cant pick it up to see it is going to land out of the zone. Just nothing. That is a total waste of an at bat flailing at the ball like he has a wiffle ball bat in his hands.

Maybe they should bring Mateo up if that are the ABs and swings Wade is going to have.

Can't blame A's for asking about Frazier/Torres. Gray is good and under control. I mean we got Torres for a closer.

Gray might be good, but he's not a Chris Sale type pitcher. Chris Sale is a guy you can demand a Frazier/Torres for, not Sonny Gray.

And the circumstances for the Yankees getting Torres for Chapman is way different.

What are the feelings on Ervin Santana as an alternative option to paying the price for Gray and Darvish.

Also Straily's name as now appeared. Has team control for 3 years so he would require a good offer.

Straily is a #5. No thanks.

I'm totally aware.

His dominant sinker isn't going to go away just because hes moving to the AL East. I bet he'd start throwing his curve more if he ends up in NY. Rothchild has a hard on for them.

The only real concern is health with him and its a big one. I don't advise getting stupid with him either (Florial would be stupid) but for Mateo+ a few others, it's a decent gamble.

Yeah Gray will be fine.

Getting closer to what exactly? He's a career .246 hitter who hit .225 last year and is even worse this year. Do you want him getting important at bats in the postseason if we get there? I sure as hell don't.
