Frazier is posting better ISO numbers at AAA than either Sanchez or Judge did while being younger than both were last season.

I'm not sure what exactly there is to be skeptical about up to this point. If they had room for him in the OF, he'd be playing with the Yankees right now.
Frazier and Fowler are both ready. Wade too. They made a great deal with Cleveland. Sheffield's coming along nicely after just turning 21 in AA.

Depends on who they have to trade to get them. I'm not willingly to mortgage the farm system when we're ahead of schedule.

Agreed. Headley has been picking it up lately and as long as he is putting up average numbers I don't think the Yankees will look for an upgrade. What about Lucas Duda as a potential 1B target? The Mets will probably drive the price up on him because it's the Yankees but I think it's worth a look.

I absolutely agree.

I dont know who I would prefer if I had to choose one or another. I think it would be Hosmer. He is a gamer especially in the playoffs.

Headley has been "ok" lately but nothing more. He will start slumping again because he just isnt that good of a hitter.

Hosmer, Kendrick, and a starter if prices are reasonable.

I have zero interest in Duda.

I also love a future outfield of Frazier-Rutherford-Judge.

As for Dustin Fowler, very good prospect, but just don't see where he fits on this team long term. Same with Aaron Hicks. If this is who Hicks is going forward, a tough decision will be made on him as well.

And this is all assuming the Yankees don't go after Harper.

Depending on what happens with Bird, I wouldn't mind Hosmer depending on cost.

Center. He may be the only real pure CF prospect the Yankees have in the minors.

I don't think Judge sticks in RF for long. Not that he can't play the position, but he'd be much better suited to DH more often than not because of all the weight he carries. They can run with 4 OF and just rotate them to the DH slot every now and then.

Obviously if they go all in on Harper, that would change everything.

I can see that happening. Rotate Frazier, Rutherford, Judge, and Fowler.

But then, what do you do with Aaron Hicks going forward if his season so far isn't a fluke?

The Yankees are so high in Rutherford that with Hicks having the season he is, and Harper being available in 2018 free agency, Fowler is very expendable even though I really like him.

Use Fowler to get Gerrit Cole as part of a package.

If this season was a fluke for Hicks and if Rutherford doesnt pan out the Yankees can set their sights on Harper. In fact even if Rutherford is not ready by 2019 season, they can have Harper-Judge-Frazier in the outfield to be honest.

Pirates don't need OFers. Polanco, Marte, Cutch. Meadows replaces declining Cutch.

Clippard struggling. Struggled against the Angels last week. Yankees come back and need a win in the worst way. So naturally Girardi brings him in to try and figure it out now .

Im usually a huge Girardi supporter but my god this just awful management. This game is on him if we lose again. Just absolutely stupid.

And nobody warming up in the pen. Pathetic Girardi.

Can't argue. Not a good decision. Clippard is throwing meatballs.
