They did not want to give Corbin the 6th year. Can't blame them. And didn't they just bring in a $300m player?Guess the Yankees don't plan on signing any top free agents in the future. Can't even be bothered to make legitimate offers to Corbin or Machado despite "interest" and don't have any room for Bryce Harper because too many outfielders or something.
As for Harper, come one. It's not that they have too many outfielders it's that he is going to cost between $300-$400. They have to resign Judge. It is a cap world. And Machado? A playoff no show with a poor attitude for $300m? Where have I seen this movie before?
