Funny enough we went on our 6 game skid pretty much when Mitch went down to injury.
Thought the Mitch injury was the major reason why we hit the skids...maybe more factors were at play

I agree as well. His style of play should mesh well with this open approach of Keefes. Way more fun to watch.
Besides, if we don’t get him back soon, I’m worried how many more interviews he is going to do with sports net. No more social justic warrior bullshit!!!

Our team is without Marner...and we are doing well with the bump. So here's hoping we come back stronger with him returning soon.
My brain is so fried I forgot Mitchell is actually for Mitch...I can't imagine him as anything but Mitch Marner.

I would love to see him play but less than 100% makes no sense. We have guys battling for a job and it would be nice to see how it plays out with the new system before roster decisions need to be made.

I can't wait to get him back now. When the Leafs sucked, people sort of looked at missing Marner as the reason and viewed him more as someone who was expected to save the team from being bad which was unreasonable in my opinion. Now he'll be another key piece in a team that's already really really good, and should absolutely thrive

I can only imagine...there is something about Mitch that makes me lean towards him being genuinely in love with the game. Sure, the money is looked upon as an obvious motivator,but he was good when he was young and I doubt he came from a poverty background (maybe I'm wrong) which for some is motivating in itself. I hope he really cranks it up under Keefe.

Cuz ,when you're losing..you gotta score! Stacking a lineis likely the best option. Would you suggest the Bruins break up their top line to spread out the scoring ? Let's say ,Keefe throws Matthews /JT/Marner out and they have success. The kind that other teams dread to play against. I would at least try it!
