I would *almost* rather hear to a Bieber song than see any more of those sweaters he 'designed'.

I Personally have no problems with Marner, He's just overpaid. Just like Matthews, just like JT and just like Willy will be. The Colorado game has left a real bad taste in my mouth. We're a top heavy team with overpaid stars that can't get the job done. Not sure how we're supposed to win anything with our current roster construction. Not when the stars aren't able to rise to the occasion.

I hadn't thought about that, but I could see it. In fact there is probably a good chance he now has a dislike for Keefe now. Is that a good reason to dislike the coach? Not really. I mean this is the same player who asked for a trade or close to when Babcock demoted him to the 4th line in his 2nd reason, so the Keefe thing does make sense.
Personally I'm not buying the marriage stuff either.

Probably not every team, but on the football field, on the diamond, and a lot of teams use music now during practice.
Now, they turn it down while someone is giving instructions or teaching, but if they are going through drills there is almost always music now

Our management is just like you. 'I'm the victim' mentality and just refuse to look in the mirror.
This team lacks seriously in the leadership dept from the top down . Coach is a bitch , the players or team hierarchy are all bitches with the exception of Rielly . None of these guys are true leaders . Mathews came out with same attitude in his post game . It's truely how they feel . If they had a real leader somewhere in the building they'd be correcting that attitude in these guys . Everything doesn't need to be negative but coaching these guys to know they are not doing enough to win needs to be driven home . Whether a new coach can do it is debatable . I think these guys have been given the keys for far to long and they truly believe they're great as is .
They need to be angry once in while , NHL is serious business not just fun and games .
All that said , the big 3 [ Tavares isn't in that group anymore ] did play well , just not well enough to will a win .

This thread is one of the weirdest things on the internet right now. You have people ready to splooge their pants over a dumb quote lol. Now they have more ammo. I think this is exactly what Marner means, everything these guys say is over analyzed. You have fans and media who want the players to feel a certain way. They are never going to feel how you want them to feel. They make too much money, they know they are good players. That’s never been in any of their personalities.
