Professionalism is important. Use your eyes...have you seen how casual this team plays? This signifies how ridiculous criticism of Marner has become...when ppl think what he wears to the rink determines if he cares or how much he produces....
No wonder Marner gets bounced off the puck so easy……..his arms and legs are tiny

He is a professional athlete and he should look like it not like he is going to the beach. This group becomes more unlikable by the minuteThis signifies how ridiculous criticism of Marner has become...when ppl think what he wears to the rink determines if he cares or how much he produces....

And, of course, this leafs team has to be the team to buck that trendin fairness, the NHL is the only league that really makes players wear a suit. again just a bit of a traditional thing, but most athletes rarely wear suits to games, has no bearing on perfomance. it's just clothes

kinda how I’m feeling now! But I’m still holding onto hope he’s gonna figure it out
It is a mentality thing, wearing sweats or tee shirts are for relaxing while suits or business causal means business.in fairness, the NHL is the only league that really makes players wear a suit. again just a bit of a traditional thing, but most athletes rarely wear suits to games, has no bearing on perfomance. it's just clothes
It is about professionalism and working towards a common goal, not about individualism. So yeah, their dress does reflect on them.
If they dress causal, it usually means their mindset is relax and causal.
That's ridiculous. How you dress has no impact on how someone plays
You realize they all were wearing suits before, right?
I guess nobody ever didn't play well or "didn't work towards a common goal" because they were all dressed in suits?
I'm reminded of the time that Gretzky called the Devils a Mickey Mouse organization. Marner wearing that shirt can be interpreted as him saying his own team is a clown show.Respect comes in many different ways. How you present yourself is a major one.
You present yourself as a cartoon character you get looked at like a cartoon character.
Think Ovy is walking anywhere with that shirt on? Nevermind somewhere with his team.
You were right it isI literally thought that was Marners GF behind him. its Matthews![]()

No it doesn't
I can point you to thousands, maybe millions of times that a dude that wore a suit to a game played like crap and wasn't into the game. Suit or no suit, it has absolutely 0 bearing on how a player plays.
I just can’t believe we have to throw away another season.
Everyone on earth except Dubas and a few of his fanboys knew we needed to trade Marner (and a few others) in the offseason.
But Dubas said “it wouldn’t make the team better.”
At this point, subtracting him from the roster and spending that money elsewhere absolutely makes the team better.
