I know it'd be the most Flyers thing ever. After years and years of picking Centers we would end up taking something else with that pick

Yeo is one guy who maybe rivals the incompetence of Berube... my brother is a Wild fan so I watch maybe 30 of their games a year and he is not only rubbish but also boring.

I think maybe I am being too harsh on him though, him being such a boring coach makes me think worse of him than I probably should.

I actually thought he was well thought of around the league.

As I said I was probably being to harsh on him... I have never really liked him as a coach. He is pretty good tactically... but just tactics I hate, and makes potentially a pretty fun team to watch (with the personnel they have) boring. He just seems like a great AHL coach out of his depth at the moment with a team that is not overly suited to him.

Fletchers handling of the Goalie situation is arguably the real crux of the problem that really helped them get in this mess. I mean, you look at the team SV% and team Corsi and individual Corsi and that is the massive problem. They would likely be in the playoff spots quite comfortably with NHL calibre goaltending.

I mean, unlike Berube I think he could have actual success at NHL level given the right circumstance and roster... for example I think if Tippett was fired he would do a good/slighty worse job than Tippett has in Phoenix, but I would not want him ever coaching the Flyers.

Somebody really needs to get a new capgeek like website up and running soon. I figured it would be up within a few days with how hockey fans value their contract news and roster building. I'm not a fan of NHLnumbers.com. I also think they are associated with hockeybuzz as well now, so Eklund will be making bank off of people visiting it.
