It's very solid. I'm impressed. Doesn't quite have the punishing factor of Diablo 2 or pre patch 1.12(?) Diablo 2 (but that's a good thing).

My buddy that I usually game with has been playing since I no longer have time to raid wow classic with him, and he has a level 30 or so necro. Says he's been really enjoying it.

I cant picture buying it because I don't have the time to keep up currently. If I was going to do a slog, if probably go back to PoE. More realistically, I'm just trying to get 100% on AC:Valhalla in my spare time now.

I don’t hold it against other people for enjoying it, but it’s an ARPG designed completely opposite to my personal tastes.

It looks pretty and polished both in-engine and in cutscenes, but has absolutely zero depth to the gameplay, gearing, or build variety. There’s nothing wrong with enjoying that as the shallow experience it sets out to be. It succeeds in what it’s trying to be. It’s just not for me.

For sure. Everyone has their own tastes. For a while I hated PoE because I couldn't stand the idea of having THAT MANY options. Still feel like the game can be overwhelming at times( or could, when I played) but in tome I grew to understand it better. The diablos were always much 'simpler' in design.

PLD has been in Columbus & Winnipeg so far in his career. Not exactly surprising he’s using all his leverage first real chance he gets. Those teams he’s been played on have been largely mediocre & all things equal those two destinations off the ice aren’t in demand amongst players.
