Outside of few zone entries Eichel hasn't shown much. Reminds me of JVR in a way, you don't see him all game yet somehow he always ends up on the board.

What's the point. They have three high priced players with NMC. That makes it hard to start a rebuild.

Hayes is gone, Provorov is probably gone, Sean we'll see.
Nothing that's going to interfere with the Flyers rebuilding.

Some people are a bit "knee jerk" around here.
point is you act like those 3 pens are a burden and not productive That's how i read your comment.

They are not in rebuild mode. They will "go" for it the next 3 years. Unlike other organizations they at least have a plan. I would talk to them about moving Hart

still funny seeing how bad Hextall was there as well

Florida gets a shorthanded goal and another with 11 seconds left in the 2nd. There is zero chance they lose that game vs. any of their previous opponents. This will be the one they regret if they don’t win the series.

I find myself rooting for Vegas.

For one, Florida was extremely lucky to sneak into the playoffs. Spent more time out of a playoff spot than any playoff team in the modern era & only eked in when Pittsburgh choked. Kind of cheapens the Cup when a team like that wins it.

Two, I’d rather Bruce Cassidy win it than Paul Maurice. I’ve had my fill of Maurice these playoffs. Everything is such a show with him. We get it, you’re smart & witty. Enough. Guy can barely answer a straightforward question without turning it into an act.

If Bob hadn't eliminated Toronto and Carolina, I'd favor them to win based on what I've seen from Vegas in this run. If Bob is at that level, I favor them to take the series and Cup. If he is done Parenting/Haseking out there, then Florida is in trouble. Even if he's merely great instead of mythical.

Bob still actually played well despite a bad goal against. He was tested hard Was still positive in goals saved above expected, too. They need him to be saving 1-2 above expected per game to have a prayer. Probably more like the insane 2-3 he had been doing prior. The long layoff might have killed them. We shall see.

I get those leagues make more revenue but that’s still unacceptable the cap has risen so lowly for that long now & counting.

They've all got skyrocketing TV related revenue. The NHL, meanwhile, signed a terrible deal that has lowered their visibility.

And as a gate driven league they were slammed far harder by COVID than the others.

The NHL having the worst revenue sharing plan doesn't help either, teams had to take a lot of hits.
