I am two eliminations away from a perfect Cup final. Let's just get rid of the Stars tomorrow, and the Canes next week, so we can lock in a first-time champion.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I feel Vegas has kinda paid their dues. I wouldn’t mind if they won. I would have been livid if they won the cup on their first year

I wouldn’t mind if Dallas won. Lots of players I’d like to see get a cup, like Ben and Pavelski

Florida-wouldn’t mind. I love a good Cinderella run even though they remind me of the 2010 Flyers in that they underachieved in the regular season

Seattle-would kinda be funny to watch people try and make sense of them winning the cup

Carolina-don’t really care one way or another. I can’t think of a team I am more neutral on

I’m happy with this postseason

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Thanks for the warm Philadelphia welcome!

That said, I've always held to this: Philly first, then as long as I don't have a family reason to root for another team, I always favor the teams that have never won. I'd much rather see new fan bases get to celebrate than ones that have already been there.

Teams I want to see win in order of preference:

1. Carolina: Ghost & Brindy, nuff said

2. Dallas: like the team and having a pro team other than the Cowboys dominating the sports news in Dallas will piss off Jerry Jones and that’s an added bonus

3. Florida: I live in FL and after ousting Boston and the Laffs, I can’t help but like them

4. Vegas: don’t like em, don’t dislike em, so yeah whatever

5. Seattle: city is full of coffee snob hipster douchebags and the team is coached by Hak, so they can F off.

I have it on good authority that if Ghost wins the Stanley Cup, he may take the trophy to Gulfstream. And considering he was a big Panthers' fan, the story has been written.

I've always liked Bob, even if he can randomly go from elite to Leighton in the blink of an eye

Skinner is part of that new generation of goalies that think positioning and size is all you need. He just wants to let pucks hit him. Doesnt go after shots at all and not very athletic.

Campbell should have started Game 7. He was much better in his minutes in the Playoffs than Skinner.

It can work if youve got a great defense to clean up but it's Edmonton

We'd probably have to take Campbell's contract back.

I'd take Campbell with a bit of retention, let him play with Errson. Don't really matter who our goalie is next 3 years.

Campbell ( 20% retained) , 1st , top Prospect
Hart

This fair, not enough ?

I think you’d have to take Campbell at full salary. When you consider we dump Hayes, lose JVR, move Provorov, not pay Hart’s next deal, and the cap starts going up, not a good reason to not take the full deal as long as they make it worth our while.

Edmonton doesn't have a 2023 1st, so you're talking 2024 or 2025, and if Hart turns them around, a pick in the late 20s.
Don't think they have a lot of top prospects.
Not sure there's enough available to make this worthwhile for the Flyers.

Oilers won't have room to retain. They'd be forced to pay extra ( or move someone else in a separate deal) to make it work. They don't have any MAJOR contracts to negotiate, but I think i was reading today that they have like 6M to sign 5 RFAs, one of which is Evan Bouchard.
