I get the idea, but I don’t think your answer to that can be playing Pionk for double the TOI of some of your other Defensemen when he’s clearly not holding up to the load. They didn’t even deploy him in high leverage offensive situations. They just used him to eat Minutes.

Morrissey is their skating MVP. Pionk probably played too much, but they were in trouble no matter how the defensemen minutes were distributed.
