I would of figured the 7 (?) non fighting majors he got during the regular season would of played a role. I know he was never suspended.

Thank you for your reply. I am trying to be objective about why another club would decide that Carter Hart is worth the capital to make it worthwhile to trade him and be ready to re-sign him to a sizable raise.

Hart is 27th (minimum 1000 minutes) in SV% (.907) and 32nd in GAA (2.94).
- Toronto: Samsonov (7th - .919; 6th – 2.33)
- Edmonton: Skinner (16th - .913; 23rd – 2.75)
- NJ Devils: Vanecek (18th - .911; 9th – 2.45)

And it's not like Hart has a playoff pedigree; good numbers (.926, 2.23) but just 14 games

Florida definitely needs an upgrade in goal; however, they are committed to another 3 years of Bob at $10 million. Knight, too, at $4.5 million, but his career is up in the air right now.
