Yup. If Byfield was traded the return would need to be an equally good young player with a similar ceiling. Just makes no sense for the Kings to make such a trade. And doesn’t for the other club too.

Heard earlier in the season from a flyers FO source that LA was dangling Byfield to flyers and was looking at farabee or foerster. Also that flyers were also looking at Turcotte.

That was before Farabee had a terrible season, though.

I heard from a Kings FO source that Philadelphia was dangling Michkov to the Kings and was looking at Danault or Moore. Also the Kings were looking at Bobby Brink.

That was before they found out that Michkov couldn't pat his head and rub his belly at the same time. They don't need that negativity in their locker room.
