This is not an “I told you so.” It’s a preparatory statement for subsequent trade discussions.

There was a point at which you probably could have gotten Nylander and another very good asset for Provorov. You might have been able to get Marner, but probably not. That’s what we mean when we say market value can outstrip actual on ice value of some of your good players.
