The Leafs’ board GDT is pretty entertaining. Within 30 secs I saw posts saying the refs and the league is against them, leafs should play to injure, everyone on their team sucks and they should blow it up, basically everyone losing their composure. I forgot what playoff hockey is like

Hockey media really, really, really playing up this idea that the Leafs are better now because they got more gritty players…they’ve been doing this every season that Dubas has been GM. Adding a player or two every season that is grindy and “hard to play against” has been a regular thing with that team.

The only reason they haven’t won a playoff series the past 7 years is because Kadri was a moron TWICE, and they lost a few game 7’s (which are frequently toss-ups anyways).

I’d prefer that the Leafs win just so we don’t have to constantly hear anymore about how they haven’t won a playoff round in forever.

It would have been extra cool to have Frost play with Tolvanen given all the discourse about them at the 2017 draft. How funny is it that Frost had 19 goals this season compared to 18 for the sniper that Hextall passed on. (In 20 fewer games, but still.)

Hopefully Briere won't fill up the roster to the brim with crap the way Fletcher did, so the 26th ranked Flyers can take actual advantage of the waiver wire next season.
