I was going to invite the lot of you to Seattle's bandwagon, knowing how much all of you miss Hakstol.

But my god, eight of you...8!! are hitching yourselves to the f***ing oilers. Gross. The Canes I can get with, but how can you support the team that wasted everyone's time FOR A DECADE vacuuming up first overalls until finally getting lucky. At least Pittsburgh had the decency to turn the tank off after four years of that nonsense.
I’m pulling for Hak.

Don't be cowards. Say it with your chest, no matter how absurd it is.

Hart: McDavid, Tkachuk, Robertson

Norris: Karlsson, Fox, Lindholm

Vezina: Ullmark, Sorokin, Saros

Adams: Montgomery, Ruff, Brind'amour

Calder: Beniers, Maccelli, Skinner

Selke: Bergeron, Hischier, JEE

Is Norris for the best D-man or the highest scoring D-man.
Inquiring minds want to know.

My 3 votes include the Defensemen with the 1st, 8th, and 16th most Points.

The Selke, however is strictly for the best defensive Forward.

They're totally spite deficient with no hope of developing a proper moral compass.
I think a lot of us fall into the category that we weren't around to see those Oilers-Flyers battles, and hate everything about the franchise pre 1993. So all the Oilers are to us is watching a fun, fast, skill based hockey team.

In Brind'Amour's interview with Friedman he said that the Selke definition had changed in the last 25 years to reflect the best two-way forward instead of the best defensive forward.

Makes sense given who has won it in that time frame, for the most part, though the best two-way forward of this generation is also the best defensive forward of this generation....

That's how it's voted on in practice, yep. But unless they've changed it very recently, the instructions don't mention two way play at all. So my votes follow instructions.

It’s times like these that I’m glad that the Flyers have a coach that is proud to admit that he doesn’t know the offensive side of the game.

Life is good.

When everyone else zigs, you zag. They're gobbling up spare intangible value at every turn. I don’t want to be a homer, but in 3 years, I think they could be the Titans.
