I think young top pair-ish NHL defensemen, in general, make GMs freebase cocaine and make 3am calls. Under 25 with 2.5 years at $4.6 mil? Whoa, boy. Whatever I think of Chychrun — that he’s definitely not a #1 — I think the league is higher on him. He’s a better Provorov, but his trade timing is so far at the other (positive) extreme too. If YOU believe he’s a high end top pair guy, then they don’t regularly become available. The Kings might feel deep down Chychrun fits their window better.

So, I’m basing it off that. Look at Jones with 1 year of term as the ceiling. Or even Ristolainen as a floor. Or Lindholm. Chychrun has more term at less than any of them had, and I think they were all at less than peak value. I think a Clarke-less package is sub-market cost.
I feel ya. All solid points. The obvious bottom line is how much does LA value Clarke vs Chychrun.

Think LA is foolish, Chychrun is talented, but also fragile. Misses games every year, and that will probably get worse, not better.
If a guy gets injured that much, probably some genetic factors involved, or he's broken a lot of mirrors.

Man, Sens score two late goals to send their game with Calgary to OT. Followed up with an all offense OT, where Stutzle completed the comeback.

Sens only used Chabot on D and had a shift of 3 forwards.

Wonder if Torts will ever move off of 2 D in OT. Games like this are highly entertaining.

Flames stopped playing that entire third period. Could of done so much more and basically did nothing.

Not really sure what to do here…

Long story short, back in October I pre-ordered a Lindblom RR with the expectation that they were being released in November. I reached out the Friday before Christmas asking for an update and they sent out a goodie bag as an apology for the delay but said that it should be settled the following week. Fast forward to the last weekend of January I asked to just be refunded for the whole thing. I got refunded.

Well I got a package delivered today from Stahl’s. A company that just last week I made a new account for to maybe order some twill to be able to put a number on my Eagles media night jacket. So when I got a UPS notification the other day I figured it was just them sending me a catalog. HCette got it from sitting outside and she says “what’s this?” I say I think it’s just a catalog. She tosses it at me and says it doesn’t feel like one.

I open it and it’s this:

Do I reach out to the Sharks and offer to like send it back to them or just go on with my merry life?

I very likely would have just thrown out the package if I was the one to initially get it.

Up to you if you refund the refund, but keep that blouse for sure.

Considering how long they made you wait and dicked you around, I would just keep it. Had they handled it better I would reach out and let them know and see what they say, but screw them.

Also that jersey is f***ing gas.

I want it... I just have a moral compass that I feel bad about how this ended up on my door and I didn't pay for it. What goes around comes around and all that.

I mean the likeliest scenario is that they had no need/demand for a Lindblom customized jersey so they sent it to me anyway. When I asked for a refund they said that they got the expected shipping date of 1/30 or something like that and it was 1/28 but they could offer a refund if I wanted it. So seemingly it was close to being done.

Were it me, I'd call and tell them they got it right and offer to pay. Even odds they tell you it's fine and leave it at that anyway.

They're going to tell you to keep it. But doing the right thing is always right. You can always pay back.
