Yeah, it's the grey hair. Look at Ovechkin nowadays. He looks like he's closer to 50 than 30.
Super SwedeOn the league best team, Hampus Lindholm has 17 points in 16 games, after most of a decade as one of the most underrated defensemen. And, along with an 8 year $6.5 AAV contract, he cost the 22nd overall pick, two probable 50ish 2nd rounders, and some organizational jetsam.
If you’re keeping score at home, that’s $1.4 mil more a year, for 3 more years (woof!), than the same age, raw prospect Ristolainen. And it actually likely cost less pick value. Counterpoint: Lindholm is not right handed and has never even had 100 hits in a season (Risto is a 200 hit lock).
As is everythingWell, you can beat the Risto trade to depth, but it's kinda pointless at this point.
We don’t talk about (former) moderators ages around here.

He was one of my random favorites growing up.Here's Petteri Nummelin (139 NHL games) in 2010, aged 38 and 12 years later:

I remember him (his name, at least), he started his second stint in the NHL when I was really getting into hockey and obsessively poring over my NHL guide and record books that I got for Christmas every year. Without being intimately familiar with his career, he seems like the kind of guy who might've been born 25 years too early (in terms of getting a real NHL chance). Here's Petteri Nummelin (139 NHL games) in 2010, aged 38 and 12 years later:
He played a lot as a winger in both of his NHL stints despite being a defenseman (maybe he was considered too small and too cute). Small and fast, probably thought of him sa Kapanen. He played a lot as a winger in both of his NHL stints despite being a defenseman (maybe he was considered too small and too cute). After leaving the NHL, he scored 21+41=62 points in 41 games in NLA.
Would he eat the vomit? Third dinner. Finding value in the margins.Barzal has 0 goals and 18 assists in 17 games. Florcher and Flahrsy read that and vomited. Flahrsy didn’t even read it actually; he just had a gigantic 2nd dinner. But he would vomit if he read it.
