New Jersey is starting to match their crazy metrics. Goaltending is still shaky but they’re just outpossessing & outchancing their opponents so much to mitigate it. They beat Columbus 7-1 in this game today.
If they’re smart, unlike this team’s management, they’ll be good for quite a while.
Four years ago, I remember looking at other teams in the metro division. I remember thinking we’d be in pretty good shape relative to those teams. And here we are.

Their management isn’t actively bad like Fletcher but at the same time they’re not really that great either. But they’ve amassed enough young talent it should outweigh things going forward.

I'd still rather be the Flyers. Unlike the Devils, they might have no top end talent, they might have awful possession stats, but they're still winning. That's culture, baby.

Just think. You were heartbroken by that total babe who was everything you thought you wanted in a girl, then five years later you managed to meet Emilia Clarke at a Flyer game and hit it off, ultimately getting married

Obviously that Emilia Clarke is Conor Bedard, didnt think I had to point that out. Fate works in mysterious ways

Minnesota as well as two other unnamed teams wanted to hire Tom Fitzgerald from behind Shero and after his interm run

Whether Brodeur, Dan MacKinnon, or Kate Madigan are good at their jobs is kind of tough to determine this early on. Plus who the hell really knows what management outside GM does anyhow

That's definitely the hope. As long as the older, shitty family members are gone by the time we get hitched. Because they would ruin the marriage. You know, uncle Chuck and crazy old great uncle Bobby. And that freeloading bum, cousin Torts.
