I'm having a shitty start to my fantasy season and I picked up Rittich for a spot start.

So Nils Lundkvist looks pretty good so far in an elevated top four role with Dallas. New York did well on compensation in that trade but that could be a legit youngish top four defender out the door. They picked weaker defensemen over him.

It is amateurish and embarrassing for a supposed top-level league to be operating like this. Then again it's' typical Bettman. Most AHL clubs have a better facilities than this. I'm surprised that the NHLPA hasn't lodged a complaint about it. The club should be moved out of there immediately.

I agree that they should be relocated to a better hockey market, but as long as they're in Arizona I rather have them play in a small building that's actually full than a half empty building.

I guess that there's some logic in that. It still is a chicken shit way to operate which is not up to expected standards. Just move the club to a city where it will be supported by more than 1,500 fans and can make money.

Given Elvis this season's awful form, I don't find it unrealistic anymore he might not play in Global Series (but Korpi & Tarasov instead). If there's such rumours shortly before the game, I was given task from other Latvians to go to their practice and create a drama/wreak havoc in the stands.

He's averaging 2+ PPG and our second round pick literally has two points in a worse junior league.

Not that you ever would have come out on top after that Risto trade, but getting an obvious mid-first talent a full round later would have gone a long ways toward softening the blow.

This Panthers/Sens game is hilarious. 32-9 shots on goal for Panthers and score tied 2-2 not even halfway through the 2nd. Sens almost just went ahead but goaltender interference called after a challenge.
