I just took a look at the league standings and I’m kinda surprised at how much the OTL points helps teams. There are just 5 points separating the 15th place team from the 3rd to last place team.

...won't be surprised to see Trouba traded at the deadline to a contender at 50% and get back a good return.

Even at 50% it's still a pretty big salary for a player that has been bad. Could've gotten some picks to take on a bad contract rather than give assets for one.

I'm just relieved that Trouba isn't coming here. I could have seen Tortorella wanting to get a guy like him. Another washed vet who "plays the right way with hits and blocks". That's one pot hole that DB managed to pass by.

I don't really expect people to be current on every random Goalie, but Blackwood has been significantly better than Georgiev this year. Who knows how it will change, but that's an attempted upgrade.

Blackwood is playing better so far this year, but he's coming off three subpar seasons.
