Blackhawks need to add money to their cap. Different situations. They have like 10 signed for next year.
Yea but nick foligno? At 4.5? I guess if you don't care about salary and the plan is to be shit then sure.

Is it safe to say the Devils have a core of players to envy?
It's still very small sample size for a rookie d, but with Luke Hughes also in the fold they really are in envious situation. But we once had C depth of G Couts Schenn and just drafted Nolan Patrick. A lot can go wrong as well.

But then they traded for Drysdale. Who the hell knows anymore.

Well, they clearly wanted a long term PP QB type because they’ve voiced that. My hunch is look at the future “fit” moves — draft, signings, trades — they make around Drysdale (+York?). I don’t buy Andrae getting a serious look now. Tortorella and Jones aren’t magically changing a lifetime of biases.

Chicago jut resigned one of the worst 3rd line centers for 4.5 mil. Guess they paid extra for intangibles.

Interesting.

I’ve watched 10 minutes. I give it a big two thumbs whatever.

But if you think hockey color commentators provide the most unique insights you’ve ever heard, here’s 4 of them blabbering without a plot and making xbsjakapla! noises in unison when a chance happens. It’s soporific, if anything.

He’s still playing at a ridiculous level for a 36 year old.

In terms of the HoF he’s at 38 points in 39 games on the year. A few more seasons of PPG or near PPG averages could get him in. He’s not gonna get major individual awards at this point & major team awards probably aren’t in the question either as long as he’s in Ottawa. So he’s gonna have score his way in I think at this point which he’s doing so far.
