He’s still playing at a ridiculous level for a 36 year old.

In terms of the HoF he’s at 38 points in 39 games on the year. A few more seasons of PPG or near PPG averages could get him in. He’s not gonna get major individual awards at this point & major team awards probably aren’t in the question either as long as he’s in Ottawa. So he’s gonna have score his way in I think at this point which he’s doing so far.


I think he's probably already in and now it's just about on what ballot. As it stands, he's going to wait quite a while, but if he breaks 1200, especially if he does it still being near a PPG in his late 30s, then he might go in fairly quickly.

He is for me not even trying to be biased but I think the voters are still archaic in their approach so I’m not sure he would be as of now without any major individual or team awards.
