No, this couldn't possibly be an attempted distraction from the horrific news break that is likely to paint several NHL players in the most hideous light imaginable.

If they really wanted to distract people, this would have been the announcement of Toronto 2.

Provorov could be on the move again. I guess Jarmo might not be in trouble given they’re letting him potentially make trades like this. It’s totally bonkers if he’s still their GM past this year.


He should be locked out of the building if he's trying to to move Provorov already. What was the point of getting him?
