Demitra was rated as a 1rst rounder and kept slipping. I wanted the Flyers to draft him.

Only other guy that would of worked out is Chara, who I wanted the Flyers to draft solely based on his height.

He’s still playing at a ridiculous level for a 36 year old.

In terms of the HoF he’s at 38 points in 39 games on the year. A few more seasons of PPG or near PPG averages could get him in. He’s not gonna get major individual awards at this point & major team awards probably aren’t in the question either as long as he’s in Ottawa. So he’s gonna have score his way in I think at this point which he’s doing so far.
