A good deal (even if it’s an overpayment). Blackhawks need to overpay some players, and he brings leadership and will likely take the C until Bedard matures and is ready.

The jerseys are 90's retro style. As someone who grew up in the 90's I'm still baffled why anyone thinks it's a good idea to bring the fashion of that decade back.
But everything comes back at some point I guess.

Did they though? I mean dudes not terrible but 4.5 and 2 more years? We all called the Flyers out for signing scotty laughts to a 5 year deal at 3 million/year and he's 8 years younger. Imagine giving 37 year old Scott Laughton 2 years at 4.5

Blackhawks need to add money to their cap. Different situations. They have like 10 signed for next year.
