That’s not how this works. Tanev was always going to move first as long as the Flames didn’t take it to the deadline. He was never going to get more for Walker otherwise, which assumes he would all which was never likely either, unless another suitor got desperate and wasn’t waiting and/or Briere got more creative, such as perhaps moving Seeler with him as a pair.
People on this forum just want to complain about anything and everything. If the Flyers were first to trade they'd complain about how the Flyers sold low.... endless circle of nonsense.
The bigger thing is will the Flyers trade a few pieces out.
