Uh so back to the Wild discussion...
If Goose and Fleury flops what do you think Guerin is going to do?

If Goligoski flops, it's not exactly a season defining event.Uh so back to the Wild discussion...

Fleury they will keep around and just give less games if he sucks. FG will be on the short leash though, trades happen in season for goalies, sometimes pay a premium but when it is already expected to be replacement level, it’s not difficult to find at least someone to come in and try to improve it if needed.Put Goli in the pressbox.
Try and outscore other teams if the goalies flop.
The one speculation I can somewhat agree with is his play style definitely needs getting used to. So as much as I did not see an amazing goalie who I can count on I will accept that our defense will have to get used to his playing style and hopefully they can play more to defend the rebound instead of trying to block every single shot.As usual, goaltending will be the deciding factor. Fleury didn’t give me much confidence but people a lot smarter than me seem to think he’s fine. Skaters are playoff quality even without Fiala IMO.
It was in a russian article on the main board thread when everyone was freaking out before the real info started showing how blown out of proportion it was. He was in Moscow applying for his VISA.Where is the report he completed his visa application? Did Russo mention it in his podcast because I am not seeing any reports of that. And completing the application and getting a visa is two different things.
Wait you went from completing his VISA to applying for his VISA.It was in a russian article on the main board thread when everyone was freaking out before the real info started showing how blown out of proportion it was. He was in Moscow applying for his VISA.
No, I went from completing his APPLICATION.Wait you went from completing his VISA to applying for his VISA.
Also I forgot we have two Geese on this team. I was talking about Gustavsson
See? I said application - as in applying. He already completed his visa application
Those are two different things. No, I went from completing his APPLICATION.
See? I said application - as in applying.
When applying for a job, you complete an application, this isn't that difficult. When applying for a VISA you complete an application. Those are two different things.
Application is a noun as in worker application or job application
Applying is a verb. As in I am applying for this job.
Is Guerin on vacation? What a steal fir Seattle. Seriously Guerin needs to go. Oliver b from Columbus to Seattle
It's a bad trade. He's worth a 1st but this also teaches Vancouver they aren't, might not even get their asking price for JT Miller. They might get less than wild got for fialaWe can't afford him without sending cap back, and Columbus made the move because they're already over the cap and need to shed some.

So what are the allegations and why did they lie dormant for 19 years?Regarding the latest allegations about the 2003 Canadian Junior Team, I really hope our former and current players from that roster are clean. Some of the details and quotes are sickening.
So what are the allegations and why did they lie dormant for 19 years?
I'd like to see the Tournament in Minnesota. Tired of the obnoxious Canadian fans booing USA Hockey. I think Minnesota fans have way more class than to disrespect young men playing in a hockey tourney.
The fact they cancelled in the first place is a joke and they should not have another in Canada for at least ten years.
In short, I believe it was 8 kids sexually assaulted 1 women. An agreement (payoff avd NDA were agreed upon). Now the Canadian government is questioning where Hockey Canada got the money for the agreement as it shouldn’t have been government money. So what are the allegations and why did they lie dormant for 19 years?

I believe you are mixing the 2003 incident with the 2018 incident in London, Ontario. The latter involved a payoff, NDA, and 8 players/ one drunken woman in a hotel room. Ugly stuff. In short, I believe it was 8 kids sexually assaulted 1 women. An agreement (payoff avd NDA were agreed upon). I don't want to derail this thread even more ... And a bit of this is my own projecting ... Visas are a scary thing. I know many people who tried and failed visa applications because of a small detail. My family member was suppose to have an easy one but due to filing errors from their lawyer, 1 lost job and 3 years later, she's still stuck in Canada. When applying for a job, you complete an application, this isn't that difficult. When applying for a VISA you complete an application.
He was in Moscow to complete an application. He did so, he's now in Germany rehabbing, awaiting his VISA approval.
Yep. Two very separate incidents. Two different teams.I believe you are mixing the 2003 incident with the 2018 incident in London, Ontario. The latter involved a payoff, NDA, and 8 players/ one drunken woman in a hotel room. Ugly stuff.
I won't be concerned until there is something to be concerned about. Thus far there has shown nothing out of the ordinary, especially considering he and MANY OTHERS were permitted to play in both the US and Canada without a VISA entirely just last season.I don't want to derail this thread even more ... Now obviously sports athletes are different but until it is approved, I will always have some anxiety. Not to mention, the US have tighten their process since COVID and not sure how their react with Russian visas.
Just personal experience - summary: I am cautiously optimistic. Not devoid of concern but not doom gloom either
