That shouldn't matter...As for the PK, beyond their inability to win a draw

Interesting, how the player's poll had MAF as the #3 pick for goalies when you really need to win a game. Then again, I suppose having Price as #2 just confirms players rely more on reputation than recent results.
I understand the logic, but missed-90%-of-the-season Price is a bit of a wild card pick for a do-or-die game.Playoff Price is a completely different animal than regular season Price.

I don't completely agree with this. He's been great for sure, but I didn't feel like he *really* carried the team like Demko did in the 2020, or Allen did in the 2017 vs. Minnesota. Those are the only power carries that I remember from recent history.
If Price didn't steal G1 of the TOR series they should have been swept in the 1st round last year. Then picked up 2 OT wins in the series. MTL had 7 total OT games last post season, 6 of them wins. Price had a 9.34 sv% going into the Finals. 15 of 22 of MTL's Playoff games last year they scored 2 or less goals in regulation. The year before he kept them in every game for the PHI series, but had no goal support.
These were with bad MTL teams that had no business being anywhere near the Playoffs in any type of normal season.
I'll gladly take the arrogance over another month's worth of posts about ravioli.I was reading through the blues forum and it's interesting to me how many of their fans are extremely confident they'll win the first round series against us. I guess thats what happens when you dominate a team in the regular season for a couple years, but I don't remember that same arrogance from us when we played Vegas last year. Maybe it's just the tortured Minnesota sports fan in me that leads to a more pessimistic viewpoint.

It's weird to see, even though I've done it now like three times, a top 5 point getting with 108 points on the season, KK.
Like, he is truly a STAR player. The kid is just a fantastic skater and player. It's a feel good from him and from management to give him that contract and then have him SURPASS that kind of contract by a bit.
