You’re welcome to participate in the mainboard thread, just be mindful of Rules #1 and #2.

Remember that emotions are high around the situation, and trolls love to make dumb comments when this type of thing happens.

1) Flaming: Critique the opinion, not the person. Personal attacks against members are not permitted. Report flaming, do not respond to it. Counter-flaming is also prohibited.

2) Trolling: Do not make posts that could be interpreted as though they were made to cause an argument or provoke others. Making generalizations about other posters is a common form of trolling. Posting questionable content on team boards, particularly those of rivals, is likely to be seen as trolling.

Loses weight when the rules aren’t applied evenly.

ETA: and my post wasn’t on the main board, there is already hardly any reason to post there. It was here.

I love how Hartman just destroyed any benefit of the doubt for him as well as his teammates.

How is that grit working out with your new extensions, Billy? Foligno has been a little better behaved this season, but those two guys have a reputation that is pizzing me off. And it leads to more noncalls for crap such as what happened to Kaprizov.

Hartman is a moron. Always taking stupid penalties at the wrong time, clearly some cheap/dirty plays, and now this. Exactly the type of behavior that shouldn't be in the league.

I agree. It's one thing to stand up for your teammates, but to do this by delivering cheap shots and putting your team in the hole is not what we need.

So.

Middleton starts useless fight.

Hartman high sticks to the face and admits on microphone? Wow.
That will help the dirty reputation. Expect some calls from that.

Maroon. An even more useless fight.

So Kap is still hurt.

Message sent: Wild are dirty and kind of lousy fighters.
Mission accomplished?

Jets are having a good laugh I’m sure.

And never send him back. Please and thank you

Wait, can we actually pull him for the 9 games or whatever it is?
I'm sort of sure we could pull him for however many games we want, but I guess I don't know if that decision had to be made before the season, or if he has to agree with it on his end too. It's just that the 10th game starts the ELC clock, which shouldn't really be a huge concern.

Because I remember us sending Dumba back to juniors halfway through a season, but he started in the NHL out of camp.

What a mess...now they even have to cancel practice.

This would never have happened under Dean Evason. Cancelling a practice early, what a clown show. This is exactly why you don't start practice.

Could we just pull Heidt out of the WHL for a while or something?
What's Beckman's injury status?
Paging Caedan Bankier
Word on my Google feed is that Sam Walker has been recalled. It's per NHL.com.
Nevermind, that's a day old. What the hell, Google?!

I hope Billy doesn't do some trades and say - we are still in the playoffs! I'm not sure about the cap and all that, but you never know what he's gonna do.

The injuries/season is what it is - accept it and don't waist assets for minimal chance of making PO, let alone doing anything outside of another first round exit.

Spurgeon can move on. Shut him down and fix the problem for goid. Otherwise he's just an unreliable roster space at this point.

Me neither, but Walker having only 6.94 xGF% caught my eye.
Wow. Yikes.

Mathematically, this is a pretty insane result. 3 xGF vs. 43 xGA equals 6.97%. which is really close to the result he got. I'm assuming that's unsustainable, which is a good thing in this case.
