Seems like a good deal. 3 years gets him for his prime, and he provides cover should Wallstedt end up being less than we hope. Worst case scenario is that he reverts to what he was in OTT, which would make him a somewhat overpriced backup for a few years - like Fleury is now. I can live with that. If he replicates last year, or gets even close, the it's a great deal.

Makes it very tight, if not impossible, to sign Addison and a 13th forward. I don't see Addison accepting his QO. That extra year on the Goligoski deal is really coming back to bite Guerin.

It's time for Zuccarello's All Star Game in Norway next Friday. It's a charity event.

From the Wild (besides Zucc) we'll see Eriksson Ek, Brodin and Johansson in action + Fiala and other NHL players. They will face Stavanger Oilers, top team in the Norwegian elite league.

Game will be televised, probably available for free online.

Hi guys, sorry to bother you all. Big fan of Prince and your city haha

I'm in a fantasy league and there's this guy who is a complete douche so I wanna make sure he doesn't fleece me in a trade

He's trading me Addison and two draft picks for Matt Roy and Defensive Prospect Duda from Arizona.

What are you guys expecting from Addison this year and moving forward?

Thanks in advance

Hey, I'm a Prince fan, too! Good stuff!

I'm expecting Addison to either run the power play and put up ~40 points or be consistently a healthy scratch. No, seriously. He is our best offensive defenseman, but Dean Evason does not trust him defensively, and has scratched him for long stretches of games.

This trade you've been proposed has a lot of uncertainty in it. It all depends, IMO, on how many games Addison plays, and how Duda develops (assuming this is a keeper league). Also on what your needs are. If you need more offense, it's not a terrible proposal, but if you don't I'd maybe not do it.

Mmmmm, I think Spurgeon is better offensively at 5v5. Addison is a power play specialist. 62% of his points came on the power play.

i think addison should have a good year so i'd go 4 it. edit 8-3-23 prince road sign just put up today

I'm bored. Where would this team finish this season in the division and conference?

Fiala - Coyle - Tuch
Nyquist - Haula - Granlund
Zucker - Kunin - Niederreiter
Greenway - Sturm - Bjugstad

Soucy - Burns
Suter - Dumba
Scandella - Klingberg

Kuemper
Kahkonen

Ahead of MN. Top-3 in the central, 7th or 8th in the West.

Centers are the only weak spot, and they are really weak. If you added ROR as the 2C it would help, bump Haula down to 3C, Kunin ends up as the super sub.

Kept it at at least 1 game played, or else Leddy would qualify too.

Okay. So no Leddy, McBain, or ROR.

That would still leave Bonino, Cole, Donato, Jost, Kulikov, Parise, Reilly, Reaves, Staal, Sundqvist, and Talbot fighting for the pressbox/bottom of the lineup?

Defense and wingers carry the team. Sound familiar? I don't think the goaltending is that great.

Fringe playoff team.

wild guess 3rd in central & playoff 1st rnd exit. still weak on centers.
This is a safe bet for the Wild regardless of who's on the roster, so I can dig it.

For my own ranking though, I think that team would be pretty bad, maybe middle of the division, possibly worse. It's got some great pieces in Fiala, Tuch, and even old man Burns, and I like Dumba on the 2nd pairing, but the rest are guys who are playing a line higher than they should be for the most part, including in goal.

So much depends on Rossi being even close to what he was expected to be when he was drafted. I don't expect him to be a #1C at any time in the next 2 or 3 years, if ever, but if he can be an offensively inclined 3C who gradually becomes a 2C then we are in pretty good shape. JEE is an elite 2C who can be the defensive presence on a 1st line/PP at this point, Gaudreau/Hartman are decent 3C's, with Marat coming over soon to do more of the same. It all works if Rossi can be a middle six C/2C with vg puck skills. A Granlund who can play C.

He's not going to be the homerun that some hoped for when he was drafted, but at this point I'll be happy with a solid double.

Looks like a solid 1st round exit team!

dissecting the roster we've got 2 top 6 talents in fiala & tuch. then lots of depth scoring so thats why i'd rank us 3rd in central. ok D, ok goaltending. the centers are a downgrade from JEE.

How could anyone look at that D and not see it as anything but a disaster in 2023-24? Combined with the goalies we would be giving up more goals than the tank year Sabres.

It would also be scoring way more goals

The D is fine. It’s probably right on par with what we’ve currently got in terms of GF%. The only issue I see is Suter will complain that his partner is Dumba instead of Burns.

The next 99 Minnesota Wild player came out in NHL 23 Hockey Ultimate Team... Jordan Greenway  The other two 99s that came out are Colton Parayko and Cole Caufield.

Was the game played yesterday, or will it be played the coming Friday?
If so, do you know which channel who will televise it?
