Rossi gonna have to take advantage is this opportunity. Deano is looking for a reason to plug Mason Shaw into that spot

There's a lot of black and like, neon/kelly green here. Does that mean anything?
There were rumors the primary color could be black, so possibly.

I'm not going to lie, part of me really wants Rossi to have this horrendous game now just to see the reactions.

(but then tear it up shortly after)

Shaw simply doesn't have the talent. I appreciate his hard work, but Boldy needs someone who can play on the same level that he does, mentally, and skill wise. Rossi is the only answer that I can see in this lineup, unless you break up the 1st line.

Black and kelly green will definitely remind me of the Norm Green (North) Stars. Not sure I like that.

Possibly also if the GM forces him to? This doesn't feel like a Deano decision to me... but I could be wrong. :dunno:
Or… some posters calling him “do-nothing deano” don’t know what they are talking about. Same posters can’t even give credit when he does do a lineup change. But don’t worry, I’m sure they will still call him “do-nothing deano” going forward…

Wasn't Evason shuffling the lines early last year too? It didn't take him long to move on from the Ek as 1C experiment. Or was that the only shuffling he did?

Just say no to black jerseys
All of the teasers have a black background, I think the general consensus in rumors lately has been kelly green with the white yoke on the shoulders and similar striping to the white version. What I would love to see is the M on the chest instead of the head logo. Just for a change of pace.

He's earned that nickname in consecutive playoffs.

He did, and then found a franchise record setting lineup that remained in tact for pretty much 1/2 to 3/4 of the season. He also put Boldy next to Fiala for those that are pissed about how he handles prospects. Obviously thought Boldy was ready for that role and maybe he thinks Rossi is ready now with the lineup change.

Doesn't mean it's a good thing.

Please tell me what he should have done differently. The only thing that pizzed me off was not starting Talbot game 1. The rest was at least somewhat justifiable.
More than just swap Goligoski for Kulikov and then vice versa. How about making drastic PP changes when clearly through the entire season it wasn't working? He even admitted he didn't want to play guys with players they hadn't played with all season because it would be "unfair" to them. Sorry... but his unwillingness to make changes was a complete disservice. Berube had no qualms about putting his lineup that was being dominated through a blender and coming out the other side the more dominant team. We didn't even try.

I think most can agree that Spurgeon was a problem on the power play. Addison wasn’t an NHL regular and Dumba was playing with one arm. What changes are you making to the power play?

I think there is something to be said about chemistry with other players. That takes time and that’s something they didn’t have in the playoffs. Maybe he will rotate the lines more this year so players are more comfortable with a variety of players.

The blues also had substantially better goaltending. Binnington was .933 or better each of the last three games. Fleury had 2 games above .900, and the Wild won both of those games.

Calm down, him finally doing something doesn't mean anyone was wrong up to this point

Doesn't mean they were right either.

About him not making enough meaningful lineup changes? No, the fact that he didn't make enough meaningful lineup changes is what meant they were right about that, yeah.

I’m plenty calm old man, him doing something proves exactly that those calling him “do-nothing deano” are wrong.

You know how time works right?
