Hey guys!

Hartman had quite a year last season. What do you think will be his role this season?

At least to start, it looks like he'll be back between Kaprizov and Zuccarello at 5v5, but he may be getting a slightly lesser role on the PP this season too.

Agreed, but we don't know any of those. Based on him being on the same line 5v5, and getting less PP time, his numbers shouldn't change.

In theory, they probably shouldn't change much. Unless 65 was a fluke.

I'm 40 years old and I have no idea what thise numbers mean (obviously, not a sports gambler). Higher number mean more "likely" to win the central?
If you bet $100 today on who wins the central, you'd get paid $330 for the Wild and $1200 for the Blues.

They think the Wild are more likely to win the Central.

Technically, those would be your winnings, not including your original bet. You'd be paid out $430 and $1300 in full as you'd also receive your original $100.

<----- Degenerate Sports Gambler here.

Don't worry, we will have a few HF goal scorer bets this season.

Kidding aside - If you are interested, Bovada is a wonderful book that is easy to use. Plus it's all Cryptocurrency based so it is simple with no CCs, or bank account info needed. It is legal in Wisconsin (Fair Trade Agreement) and since it is based offshore (Islands,) Wisco gov cannot do anything.

Happy to help more degens come into the space.

With the constant fluctuation of crypto currency vs the US dollar, how do they manage that? Do your dollar winnings change depending on the price of the crypto, or do they adjust how much crypto you get paid out to match the dollar amount of crypto you bet in the first place? Or do they just completely ignore the changing value?

Good question.

What I do if I ever need to use Bovada, which is rarely cause I live on the East Coast in a legal sports gambling state, I go into my Coinbase account and buy $xxx of one of the accepted Crypto options. (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, BitcoinSV, Litecoin, or Bitcoin Cash)

From there, I transfer it immediately to the Bovada wallet within my account. Once it hits the Bovada wallet, usually within 5-10 minutes, it’s converted to cash there and is treated like any normal cash to gamble with.

When you want to withdrawal, you choose which crypto currency you want to withdrawal to of the ones listed above, and send it back to your Coinbase wallet and then it can be converted back to cash within their or whatever you want to do. The transfer takes 5-10 mins usually.

There is some fluctuation there during the 5-10 min transfer windows, but it’s typically pennies.

EDIT - Typing this all out makes it seem somewhat complicated, but I promise it is very simple and straight forward. It takes mere minutes, and the security side of it is tenfold better than some of the other bigger books as they allow for Credit/Debit/Venmo/PayPal/etc which opens you up to a ton of potential ways into the account.

I personally find all of the gambling ads and their integration into broadcasts around the league to be pretty deplorable, one of the only things that BSN has done right by not buying in as much. Some broadcasts will literally skip over all in game analysis to purely talk about the betting odds and prop bets. I understand it can be fun for some people, but it is not a long term winning proposition for the layperson.

You do realize that BSN's naming rights are owned by a casino? The gambling stuff will get there, as soon as they can teach Walz not to just make up random numbers.

You're not wrong that it may not resonate with all people, but the Sports Gambling industry is worth billions with over $57 Billion wagered last year, and that was in less than 15 states in the country where it is tracked at legal books. Draftkings and Fanduel are sponsoring and paying for these time slots, and every broadcast company will gladly take their money. It would be foolish not to.
