In a massive trade that sends both team's captains packing, TSN's Bob McKenzie reports that star winger Marian Gaborik and captain Marc Staal have been traded to Colorado for captain Gabriel Landeskog and center Ryan O'Rielly. Colorado also receives center Brian Boyle and winger Blake Comeau and New York also receives defenseman Shane O' Brien. .

"This is a big time move that not only gives us three big time players, but lots more space in cap room that we can use in free agency." Rangers GM BigBenSF said today. BigBenSF also named Jason Spezza the Rangers new captain.​
