Milanos/Gabriel are dollar store quality pizzas compared to BP.

its ok tho, some people have better tastebuds and expectations of quality than others.:p::p:

Gabriels used to be AMAZING, like we're talking around 5-7 years ago, but I feel that since they've gone crazy on adding so many new locations in that time, the quality of the pizza has dropped. The pizzas that come out of their Fallowfield location, for instance, taste different than the pizzas that come out of their Stonehaven location. Every time we come back to Ottawa, we usually order a Gabriel's pizza for nostalgia's sake, but it just isn't as good.

Milanos, on the other hand, is the best "I can't believe we smoked all of it" pizza. That sweet sauce is exactly what you want in that scenario.

I'll nominate Willy's as the best. The one in Kanata at least is by far the best pizza place in the west end.

Love Willy's.

Anyone in Toronto looking for good pizza should hit up Libretto. It's a bit bougie but absolutely tops in terms of quality.

This thread is sad both these spots suck.

Let's have some respect for food quality and taste. I know ottawa isn't NYC when it comes to Pizza but we got some good spots like House of Georgies on Elgin St, or Palermo's on tapiola. If you wanna go corporate go to Boston pizza there pizza is pure quality and I don't mind paying for it. There a bunch of other good spots that I can't think of off the top of my head

Ick. Boston Pizza has horrible food.

1. San Marino's in Barrhaven. Been around since the late 80's. Phenomenal pie.

I had friends who, while they were living in Toronto for a while, would ask me to pick up a couple of pies from San Man's and drive them down if I was going to visit from Ottawa. I've never seen grown men so excited for cold, 5 hour old pizza.

I'm coming back to Ottawa in a couple of weeks for a quick 10-day visit, I'll need to check this place out.

That's a hell of a recommendation.

Guys I don't even care to admit that BP has some delicious morsels. Tell me you don't want to eat a pierogi burger.

As for pizza

1) Colonnade
2) K&S
3) Louis
4) Bella Vista

I used to go to the BP at Greenbank and Strandherd all the time to watch UFC fights. Then they started charging a $5 cover on fight nights. Don't think I've ever gone back out of principle.

Anyone in Orleans try mama rosa's?

Similar to Gabriel's and milanos in the way they're very generous with toppings and fill you up BUT you can walk in and get a large pepperoni for like $12 instead of the almost $20 you'd pay elsewhere.

That shouldn't even be considered pizza.

Domino's and Toppers are by far the worst.

You haven't tried pizza pizza or little ceasars. Their sauces taste like frozen pizza sauce. Oh, and spots with no cheese.

Libretto pizza is pretty good. I haven't found really spectacular pizza in toronto yet (libretto is probably the best thus far). Although i don't go out all that much for pizza.

If l want great pizza, I make it myself.

Yeah I'm in the same boat. I pretty much never eat pizza anymore (outside of like school/professional events, and that's usually something meh like Pizza Nova). Libretto is definitely the best I've had in the city.

One of my goals for the summer is to hit some of the best pizza joints in NY. It's going to be really hard to keep my clean eating streak alive haha.

At work pizza gets ordered every once in a while (more so now because it's a **** show) and often that's pizziolo. Which is ok. Pizza nova is not bad either.

Libretto is apparently rated the best pizza in TO. This summer I want to find some great Mexican food in the city (no clean eating for me!)

Seven Lives in Kensington for tacos; legitimately amazing.

I've also heard great things about Playa Cabana, but haven't tried it myself. Los Colibris is fantastic but it's kind of fancy/expensive.
