its absolutely wild that he has been the best goalie in the league overall the past 5-7 years, has now reached the 300 win milestone, and is still not even halfway to Brodeur's win record.

just shows you how much the game has changed as far as #1 goalies playing ~70 games/year.

congrats to Vas!

Goalies are hard to predict, but he's been as consistent as they come.

In my opinion he's a lock for 450 wins, with a very good chance he cracks 500 career wins. It honestly just depends on his longevity.

He only turned 30 on July 25th . He plays another 10 years he may get another 300+ wins

The game is way too fast paced, it's more likely he plays until he's 35/36 averaging 30 wins a season, than playing until he's 40.

The two oldest goaltenders at the moment are MAF and Quick. Quick is 38 and he's been serving a back up role the past 4 seasons. MAF is clearly a back up this season, and he's been splitting starts the past 7 seasons.

300+ wins IMO is out of reach, 200 is possible, 450 is very likely, 400 is a lock. The days are gone where goalies play until their 40's, the game is far too fast paced now.

Luckily he plays in the same division as Montreal. That should help compensate for any drop off.
Oh, look at this little troll. Isn’t he adorable? Tampa will decline just like any other team. That’s normal. Is it impossible for Vasi to reach Brodeur’s record? Of course, not. I’m saying it’s easier said than done because it will progressively become harder.
